THAT. WAS. THE. BEST. SLEEPOVER. EVEEEEEER!
It's a shame I had to leave early. :(
Guess what happened this afternoon? I slept like a rock.
Time to relax. Exams are over and Danny's back in school! I'm hoping they make practice whole days instead of half days.
My arms are aching from playing Wii. That's probably a bad idea but oh well. Danny's going to make them ache anyhow.
Emily Rose scared the crap out of me. What an awesome movie. Next up: The Exorcist. :O
I'm still tired for some reason. Going to go take yet another nap.
'Ta.

The Last Song
I forgot to blog about The Last Song in the other blog...
The Last Song was so sad! I thought the worst was over so I decided to read a part of the book at around 10 last night and finish it in the morning. Little did I know that Ronnie opened the letters she refused to read! Gasp! That's when I started crying my eyes out. I cried so hard I needed to get tissue from the bathroom! And at midnight my bathroom's pretty scary. But I got tissue anyway, 'cause the book was so incredibly sad! I think my pillow got wet, too.
I couldn't put the book down until I finished it. Nicholas Sparks, you know how to make women cry. Please continue to use your "powers" for good and not for evil. I have yet to read a book of yours that would make me cry at the beginning and not at the last part. That is my challenge! I must read Dear John and Message in a Bottle.
I got a new bookmark! It was a tag thing from Bayo. It's pretty. I shall show you guys on Monday.
Have to go take a bath now. We're celebrating my mom's birthday early. Korean food awaits me. :d

Of all the luck in the world...
Today is my promotion test in Tae Kwon Do! And guess who decided to visit today? My ketchup is flowing and I hate it. Seriously, couldn't it wait for one more day? Stupid, stupid cycle. To make it worse, it woke me up at 6:30 in the morning! Who wakes up that early on a Saturday?! I don't think I'm going to kick so well today...
It can't get any worse than this. At least i'm scheduled to take the UPCAT test tomorrow. That's one worry down. Pray I don't screw up later, please. :D

August!
Ah, August. It's that time of the year when leaves start to change color. When summer starts turning to fall. Chyeah right. I live in the Philippines. What did you guys expect, hmm? /:)
Anyhoo, I'm getting kind of pissed at spell check. Something about red lines underlining your work makes me think of a bad grade. I wonder why they used the color red when it so obviously reminds everyone of a failing grade. Oh, maybe that's why.
August is another special month for my family. Two birthdays in one month! That means lots of lechon and good food. Yum.
Also, one of The Dented Shoe's contributors is turning 16 this month! HOORAY! PARTY!
August is also where the high schoolers start practicing for the Buwan ng Wika program! Hooray? Definitely NOT. Danny and his evil horde of gay choreographers are going to take over the school once again. *pressing the panic button* NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Huzzah!
Huzzah! I now know how to play the theme song of 5 Centimeters per Second. Will try to memorize it next.
You know, I SHOULD be going to taekwondo by now but I felt like procrastinating. Sir will have to wait for me.
You know, I SHOULD be going to taekwondo by now but I felt like procrastinating. Sir will have to wait for me.
5 Centimeters per Second
Finally got to watch 5 Centimeters per second last night. It was SAD. I mean EXTREMELY SAD. Why did they make such a sad movie? I cried so hard.
Anyway, I liked the piano background so much that I immediately looked for the sheet music, turned off the computer, and ran downstairs to try it out. I THINK I got the right hand. But the left hand's kinda hard to read so I'm depending of my piano teacher to help me.
Of all the books in the Once Upon a Time series, I like Snow, Wild Orchid, and Rose Bride the best. I think it's because those three books were so plot-full whereas the other not-so-nice books were plot-less. Oh, and I like Midnight Pearls, too. But that's because The Little Mermaid's been my favorite fairytale since ever.
Do you guys know the difference of "faerie" and "fairy" aside from the spelling? Or is that their only difference?
I'm taking another promotion test next Saturday! BROWN BELT HIGH! WOOHOO!~

Madam... ^^
Lately, Madam Lumagbas is getting cuter and cuter. I actually look forward to English class now. Having her still teach us is such a blessing.
For example, yesterday, while discussing "Lather and Nothing Else" she asked the class how we can stop ourselves from doing what is wrong. In my head, I was formulating a very long, shall we say "textbook" answer in case she calls me. My answer was, "Use the Sword of the Spirit or the Word of God to remind us that we must not give in to temptation." I was relieved when Madam didn't call me. Instead, she called Jeremiah. Guess what his answer was? Prayer. As simple as that. And I was too occupied with giving a good answer to see it.
Seeing how she was satisfied with Jer's answer, Madam said, in a voice that was barely a whisper, "Prayer. Nothing is more powerful than it. When we encounter problems in our lives where should we go? On our knees. Nothing is too big or too small that prayer cannot answer."
Thanks, Madam. ^^

Gwapo!
Because I now watch Animax (see previous blog), I have an unlimited supply of gorgeous anime guys to fawn over. My favorite so far is Usui from Kaichou wa Maid-sama! He likes the president of the student council, Misaki, who also works part-time as a maid in a cosplay cafe. Very sweet couple if you ask me. The guy's always aloof and the girl's hot-headed. Reminds me of a couple in real life... ^^ Anyway. I found pictures of them! Yeay! I shall post them here so that you may squeal over them, too.

Thank the Lord for Animax.
So, this week my family switched to another cable company whose name escapes me. Sadly, they don't have Nickelodeon BUT I have a new addiction, Animax.
If you're wondering why I'm thanking the Lord for Animax (see title above) that's because there's ALWAYS an onslaught of hot, multi-color-haired anime guys waiting for me to watch them. Seriously, it's like I flip to that channel and I instantly squeal because I spot some gwapo guy on TV. And I can't get enough of anime/manga fluff.
I am now officially hopelessly addicted to Animax.

More Snafu please?
Ahhh! Just finished reading "The Grim Tales" in Snafu and it was AWESOME! (I think I use the word awesome too much. Don't you think so?) It's cool how they mixed together all cartoons from the underworld! AND they made Mandy so hot there... I'm jealous of her body... teehee ^^

Youtube Overload!!!
Because there are no assignments today, I have decided to surf around Youtube and find any interesting videos. Here are the videos I've discovered:
The Monkey Business Illusion:
Old Spice Commercial:
Here it is again, just for the heck of it:
Hilarious, aren't they? ;)
I just realized that by posting three Youtube videos, I'm making this post hard to load. But I tell you... You must watch the videos. ESPECIALLY the Old Spice commercials. They're AWESOME. =))

Remind me to thank T. King for making me read Snafu PPG comics. It was awesome! For those of you who haven't heard of it here's the link:

It's not finished yet, though. So you've got to keep checking for a new addition to pop up every once in a while. Again, I say, "READ IT!"

Biting is not a crime.
So, when I got home from school I quickly opened a pack of Cheezy (yes, I'm addicted to the stuff). Then, I played the piano while my beloved bag of Cheezy sat next to me. Suddenly, Sioti's SWEATY FAT hand lunged at my bag and... I bit his arm.
Next thing I knew, he was screaming and crying over his arm and shouting off stupid things like, "I HATE YOU! I HATE ALL MY SISTERS! I WISH JOSHUA WAS MY BROTHER!" To which I thought, "Psh, Joshua's just nice to you 'cause you're NOT his brother."
So anyway, back to my topic. Biting is NOT a crime. I used it as a defense mechanism to defend my "cute" (maternal instincts kicked in) bag of Cheezy.
So there you have it. Please comment and defend me. It helps wash the guilt away. (Yes, I am guilty but too proud to say it to sioti. Luckily, he doesn't follow my blog. Heck, I don't even think he has any idea what a blog is.)

39 Clues! 8D
For those of you who are NOT hooked on the series (*cough* bekkaandshainna *cough*) you HAVE to read it. The ninth book (it's set in JAMAICA with that cool accent that's so hard to follow) makes up for all the boring stuff that happened during the previous books. Plus, it's short. I didn't think I would like it either. So please, give it a try. You CAN borrow from me. I swear it only takes a few hours to finish a book.
Moving on. We had robotics during computer class today! The model we made was so cute. It could actually walk!
I've decided to not use my computer as much anymore. After T. King showed us how leaving your computer on for eight hours every day can do to the electricity bill, I am now terrified (well, not really, more of cautious?) of using the computer for more than three hours. SAVE THE EARTH, PEOPLE!

Bananas again?!
Banana alert! Found another abnormal (but still beautiful, God created it after all) banana. This one had frostbite. I WAS going to post the picture here BUT my crappy computer wouldn't let me. Killjoy.
This blog makes up for the first day of dormancy. Tomorrow I shall attempt to blog twice again. I'm catching up to The Dented Shoe. Yippee.

Hiatus officially over.
After 3 days of dormant-ness I am finally proud to say that I'm blogging again. So much for my a-blog-a-day aim. :(
THE most significant thing happened in my life last night. Funny story, actually. We were going to eat at the new Potato Corner restaurant in SM for dinner but it turns out they didn't have much to offer. So we wandered aimlessly until my mom said, "Let's eat in Chowking!" All of us were either too tired or too hungry to protest so off to Chowking we went.
Here's the thing. I've never eaten in Chowking in my entire life. I mean I know it exists and all but I've never actually taken the time to eat there.
To sum things up yesterday, July 3, 2010, was the first time I've eaten in Chowking. *bow*

As my title can tell you I'm not in the mood to blog today. This serves as a reminder for me to blog about the BEST LAAG EVER tomorrow. Cat fights anyone?
It's about 10 PM right now and I just heard the most hilarious (not to mention loud) thing in my life. Two CATS were fighting over God knows what and it drove me NUTS. Who knew cats were THAT loud?
Anyway, I was supposed to watch Toy Story 3 again with a bunch of my classmates BUT my parents wouldn't let me because I've seen it already. Bummer. :|
Practicing Canon in D is fun. Getting the hang of it. I've been playing it for so long I've already memorized two out of the three pages. >< The last part's the hardest. Can't believe people manage to play it. :/
Just watched Karate Kid today. Jaden Smith is awesome man. His Chinese was funny, though. But man! Can he fight or what? Awesome movie. ^^

Canon in D? Suuuure.
I have to learn how to play Canon in D like this?!
Crap. Anyway, on to brighter side of things. Lady Gaga tripped in London! Serves her right for wearing these boots.

She scares me. A LOT. Especially her music videos and her insane sense of fashion.
The blog looks kind of funny now. Sorry for that. I'm awaiting the banner Bekka's making for me. :D

Hunchback of Banana Dame
Okay, so I was eating lunch in my old house with my family when I laid my eyes on the most hideous banana on earth. Seriously, it reminded me of a hunchback. I knew then and there right when I saw it, it had to be mine. And so, after taking a picture of it and calling it the "Hunchback of Banana Dame," I ate it.
Here's my hand holding my dear banana:

Here it is without my hand:

Lols. How I described my banana encounter sounded like a romance novel. Yeap. That's it.

TOY STORY! =)
I'm going to watch Toy Story 3 today! I'm so, very, super-duper excited! Can't wait to see Spanish Buzz. XD
For someone who trains in ATC, Saturdays mean two hours of practice and sparring. And yes, I am engaged in martial arts. Fear my brown-belted taekwondo glory. Anyway, for sparring I was paired with this tougher-than-me guy. LUCKILY, it was just to study sparring (meaning non-violent, harmless, just to warm us all up sparring). After that, Sir told us to sit down and wait for the pairs to be called to spar. Since I was the only female brown belt, I didn't have a partner ergo, NO SPARRING! :D
Honestly, I only like taekwondo because of the forms, for example, Taegeuk 7 posted below:
Awesome form, right? Maybe you won't appreciate it as much as I would but you got to admit, it's pretty awesome.
Back to the topic at hand. The Toy Story Series (can you call it a series?) is like totally Pixar. Complete with heart-warming plot, awesome graphics, and enough bittersweet sadness to make a grown man cry. Have I mentioned I'm excited to see this movie?
Gotta go. Taekwondo made me all sweaty and I've got to clean up before venturing out into public. A girl's got to look her best. ;)

Fridays!
Today is a Friday! That means CAT! CAT (or citizen advancement training. You hear that Sir? I listened. :D)was so much fun today especially the reaction training. Too bad it was raining, though. We could've practiced with the rifles AND played volleyball after.
Oh! Guess who got a 30.5/35 in their physics exam today? That's right! I DID! I feel so accomplished.
My Filipino quiz was kind of a failure, though. Next time I should remember that speech = talumpati, instructions = panuto, and college = dalubhasaan. Oh well, better luck next time?
Pastor Jun shared with us a very important message today. The Bible tells us to guard our hearts (and by hearts he doesn't mean our physical hearts) against evil. Our hearts determine what we SAY, SEE, and SEEK. Thanks for your message, Pastor. :)
Facebook is getting boring. Weird. I figured it's about time. Games can't keep people entertained THAT long. And no one goes online anymore anyway because of school.
The whole class watched a Chinese Christian video during Chinese time. Problems faced were ginormous but God was there for them. Like what Romans 8:31b said, "If God be for us who then can be against us?" Thank you Lord for bringing little miracles into my life each day.
Alrighty, that's enough blogging for today. Newspapers don't read themselves you know? 'Til next time.

Complete Layout Revamp. =D
As you guys noticed, my layout is now fully decked out and I'm so proud of it. Plus, everything matches my blog's title which was inspired by the Maximum Ride Series. No, I am not emo.
Today, I WAS going to fan-girl over a certain half-human, half-bird guy from the Maximum Ride series but just wasn't in the mood to do anything like that now. Plus I realized that fan-girling must only be done when one is happy or in the state of nirvana otherwise it's going to sound like a report.
Drama's building up. Hope it's worth it. :/
Tomorrow is the FIRST chapel hour of the year and I am very, very happy to say that the speaker is Pastor Jun Lumagbas. His points are very clear and his message is easy to organize. Sing loud, fourth years! :D
Still have a Filipino quiz to study for. Until next time.

School has such drama
Hey guys. I WAS going to tell you something good. But I'd be persecuted, flogged and stoned to death if I do. Just kidding. But I really can't unleash this info to the rest of the world so there.
So far, during these three weeks of school my favorite subjects are:
Economics - 'cause T. Francisco bounces ideas back and forth
English - 'cause Madam L.'s the best
Music - Who wouldn't like music? Also, T. Beltran is the best.
Math - 'cause I like math
I hope/pray that the quiz tomorrow is going to be easy as pie. If only I had a fairy godparent. sigh In my dreams. :(
The 39 Clues. Awesome series. The books are a tad bit expensive, though. Still, the plot is so amazing I was able to finish 5 books in a day. Check it out here.
Enough blogging. I have schoolwork to do. Until next time (which is most likely tomorrow).

FIRST POST
Hi, guys. It's the third week of school and I feel like ripping my hair out already. Seriously, is fourth year really this FRUSTRATING? And yes, for those who don't know me, I'm vying for honors.
A few close friends and I decided to create a blog to help us keep in touch with each other when we graduate and go our separate ways. sigh I'm going to miss them all. Anyway. Younger siblings are fighting as I type. I can't believe how loud they are.
I still have schoolwork to do so I'm going to have to cut this blog short.

I still have schoolwork to do so I'm going to have to cut this blog short.
